Bhai Shaheedan ji is one  of  the very old Gurudwara Sahib in the region. This Gurudwara is around 300 years old. People of Sansarpur are deeply attached with Bhai Shaheedan Ji and also people from different areas have lot's of devotinal faith in Bhai Shaheedan Ji

History of Sansarpur

This village is around 300 years old. Five families at that time came to this village and descendants of them are called Kullar.

Sports

The village in its heyday produced 14 Hockey Olympic players, who reperesented India, Kenya and Canada at the Olympics. All olympians from Sansarpur.Sansarpur has the rare distinction of having produced the largest number of Olympians from India and hence is known as the "Mecca of Indian Hockey". In one particular Olympics, 7 players from Sansarpur represented their respective countries. 5 from India and 2 from Kenya. In present day, Ravipal Singh is playing in Indian Hockey Team and Satwinder Singh Pandha is playing under Potenzapicena Hockey Club, Italy and also many player from Sansarpur is doing services on high ranks in Banks, Police, Army, Railways.

  3. My father, Syed Yawar Ali, used to play hockey in India. He was, at that time, living at Bans Bareli. Here, I am talking about something like mid-40s. He died when I was only six, so never had the chance to discuss about his achievements. Of course he never played for the national teams, and I imagine, he left hockey quite early for his age.

    If someone happens to know anything about him please let me know.
